Nahar Amrit Shakti is one the most well organised and resident friendly society. We moved in from Delhi to Mumbai a few months back. While we had our apprehensions regarding settling down and making friends in a new place, we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and welcome we received not only from the existing residents but the cultural forums that exist in Nahar International School. We were treated to a well-organized musical night and then Ganesh Chaturthi happened. We were invited for a free training session on how to build lord Ganesha idol with eco-friendly material. That workshop itself was fun and an immense learning experience. The dedication of the trainers and facilitators was appreciable as we'll as the focus on environment. It would become so much better if the whole of Mumbai was to adopt the same eco-friendly approach towards building Ganesha idols and avoiding immersion in our rivers. The day of visarjan was even more interesting. It happened in the lush green complex of Nahar Club which is so well maintained. The event was organised meticulously and there were people to help us with parking if our car and even taking us to the entrance of the club in a battery operated vehicle (eco-friendly approach at its best). We were welcomed with Tilak and Aarti by some beautiful people who even took pictures, video to share on social media and were very keen to understand our views on the festival which is the prime festival in western India. They made us understand the significance of making the idol and its process of visarjan. My wife and I were a little emotional since the idol was made by us wig our very own hands and in the week that it resided in our house we became attached to it so much that we didn't want to part with it . We felt like leaving a part of ourselves during the visarjan. The visarjan was done with chanting of mantras and celebrating the spirit of festival with everyone around us joining the chorus. These were the people we were meeting for the first time and they made all efforts to make us feel comfortable and feel a part of this vast community. We felt warmly adopted into this new place that we started to call home from that day onwards. We told each other that if these experiences continue there is no way in hell that we are going to l age this place. This is an experience and fond memory of it is now deeply etched inside our minds. We congratulate the organisers and nahar group for undertaking this outstanding initiative and making us a part of them.

There has been a lot of thought put into planning of Nahar’s Amrit Shakti to go beyond just living spaces to an overall lifestyle development. What fascinates us the most if that the play area of children’s is ideal for imbuing them with a sense of fair play & improvises on their social skill in this fast paced world of technology. Unlike other kids these days thatare glued to YouTube & television,our kids are always excited & looking forward to play in open-space garden& play area with their friends. I believe this gives them the opportunity to indulge in physical activity while developing their learning & social abilities. These characteristics do get carried forward into adulthood. While someone from my generation would not make head or tail out of the new imported play equipment at Nahar’s Amrit Shakti, the kids find it exciting & engaging. It is great to see them challenge their boundaries and get innovative with ways they utilize these facilities. Even the life size Chess Board &Sculpture Gardens seem to stimulate their curiosity. As a parent, what I do really appreciate is how safety has been focused upon with the use of soft surfaces in the kids play area. Seeing our little one out there, experiencing the joy of outdoor that we grew up with is an amazing feeling. Thank you Nahar’s Amrit Shakti!

I came to reside in Nahar’s Amrit Shakti in 2010. I have travelled to different parts of the world & India, and I must say Nahar’s Amrit Shakti is one of the best residential complex, I had ever visited. Every morning I get to see lush green well maintained gardens which give relaxation to eyes. The beautiful fountain at all entry gates welcomes you & the greenery all around gives you feel to be in different part of world. Every day is a memorable at Nahar’s Amrit Shakti & especially during monsoon, with one of the largest lush-green podium gardens you don’t need to go anywhere. Lonavala is right here. We can see waterfall right from our balcony & the view is just amazing. We sit in the balcony for evening tea looking over to the rains and mountains with frequent appearance of rainbow. The infrastructure provided like kid’s garden, gym, swimming pool, healing garden, amphitheater …etc. tempts us & our kids to stay outdoor.
